Lead Differently
A six-part journey into the internal operating system of a leader
Nearly 70% of C-suite leaders are seriously considering leaving their roles for the sake of their wellbeing. One layer down, in middle management, the number rises to 78%. Most leadership programmes treat it as an inspiration problem or a purpose question. Neither gets close to the one that actually matters: what am I becoming, underneath everything I am doing?
That question rarely gets asked. But when it goes unanswered long enough, the cost shows up in performance, in decisions made from the wrong place, and in good people leaving not for more money, but because they can no longer find a reason to stay.
This series pays attention to that question.
Across six monthly sessions, you will sit with six questions that most leaders carry privately and almost never say aloud. Every session features a guest leader who has lived the question being explored, come through it, and is willing to talk honestly about what changed in how they led afterwards.
You will leave each session with something concrete. A specific shift in how you see a problem you are already carrying, and practical tools to start addressing your own version of the same question.
The six sessions: Starting on 10th Sept 2026
1. Something Isn’t Working :What are you pretending is fine?
On restlessness, and how to treat it as a signal rather than a flaw.
2. Red Means Go: What signals are you obeying that you have never questioned?
On the inherited rules that quietly run your leadership without your permission.
3. Where Is Your Gold?: What is most precious to you, and are you protecting it?
On what you are discarding without noticing, and what you are guarding that no longer serves you.
4. Geography as Pedagogy: What hard thing will you choose?
On rigour, deliberately chosen discomfort, and what you can only learn somewhere your existing thinking cannot follow you.
5. Ask for Help from Unexpected Sources: Where is the wisdom you have not
thought to look for?
On humility, and the sources of insight most leaders never consider asking.
6. Surprise Others: Who have you become?
On the small, repeated practices that turn a moment of insight into who you are, and how that change shows up in the people around you before you ever have to explain it.
If this is for you, it is worth deciding early.
These sessions are kept small on purpose. Ten people maximum, which means the conversation stays real, the questions stay honest, and every person in the room has chosen to be there deliberately.
Each session is £150, booked individually.

YOUR guide
Noel Mathias spent two decades immersed in contemplative practice and the inner life before founding WEvolution and Small, Powerful Groups, a movement that supported hundreds of groups of women across Scotland and scaled across the UK and Holland. Born in Mumbai and living in Scotland for twenty years. He is not a coach. He considers himself a reverse learning guide, using a unique Global South lens that most leadership development never touches.
"What makes Noel truly unique is his genuine approach to power sharing. He knows how to lead change and enable change in others without needing to own it. His global perspective aligns multiple cultures for shared learning all delivered with remarkable humility. Noel has a natural ability to enable people to see and own the greatness within themselves. He walks alongside them, keeping them moving forward using their own unique talents and skills. His gift for asking the important questions brings people into conversations that matter."
